MAXWELL’S FULLMOONERS MOONTACULA, ALEXANDRA PALACE

Having become well known for our regular appearances in Andrew Maxwell’s Edinburgh Festival Fullmooners 06/07, and making a special guest appearance in the Comedy Store London, Moontacula was a must on the Oyster Boys calendar.

The abandoned Victorian theatre in Alexandra Palace, unused for more than 70 years, again came alive for one night only. With acts including Ed Byrne, Phil Nichol, We are Klang, and Peter Serafinowicz, laughter seeped through the crumbling walls and cracked roof.

Sitting in minus degrees temperatures the crowd were buoyed by break dancing, the sweet voice of Lady Carol and the even more mouth watering oysters.
