The family farm located in the mouth of Loch Creran, on Scotlands West Coast, has over 15 years experience in the oyster business.
This picturesque loch, north of Oban, sits in the heart of Robert Louis Stevenson’s ‘Kidnapped’ country. These rich waters have a great mixture of salt and fresh water, combining to create the perfect habitat for seafood.
The site has been farmed by Roger and Judy Thwaites for over 25 years and they have passed on their extensive knowledge and skills to their son Colin and nephew Robin who take an active part in helping to run the farm.
